RMD Marketing was originally founded in 1996 in Rapid City, South Dakota with its primary focus on marketing its Ice Cream concept of free standing Ice Cream Shoppes thru our Consulting division. This concept was incorporated as a spin-off of the old Zesto Ice Cream Shoppes dating back to the 1940’s. Armadillo’s Ice Cream Shoppe was established in 1996 based on this very successful concept located in an old gas station in Rapid City, South Dakota and is the base of operations. During 1997, RMD Marketing incorporated a flavoring company, Sweetheart Specialties, into our sales and marketing concept. From ice cream flavors to slush flavors, these proprietary natural and artificial flavorings will create a niche that will give you a leg up on your competition.
